The Book of Boba Fett is on its way to the Disney Plus streaming platform just in time for the holiday season, and fans have been patiently waiting for the famous bounty hunter's solo debut. Now, The Book of Boba Fett has received a new banner that features both Fett and Fennec Shand, side-by-side and prepared for battle.
The Book of Boba Fett will pick up right where fans last saw the Star Wars character in The Mandalorian. The ending of The Mandalorian season 2 saw Fett take over the palace of Jabba the Hutt and claim the throne that once belonged to the now-deceased gangster.
The new banner shows Fett and Shand, masked up and guns out, inside Jabba's palace with the throne right behind them. The banner reveals only what fans already know about The Book of Boba Fett, but Empire recently showed a little bit more. The magazine unveiled two different covers or posters, one of which has Boba Fett front and center with his ship parked in the background. Fett is likely on Tatooine, which is the same place where Jabba the Hutt's palace is located. The second cover is an analogous color scheme that shows Boba Fett walking in a desert towards Jabba's palace.
Since every new piece of artwork includes Jabba's palace, the question is how important will that location be for the show? The ending of The Mandalorian season 2 had Boba Fett take over the palace, but it has been said that Fett will have difficulty ruling the criminal underworld. So, the posters may depict the moment Fett first took over Jabba's palace, or they could be showing a moment that has yet to happen in the bounty hunter's life.
Regardless, The Book of Boba Fett is shaping up to be something special and Lucasfilm is doing well at hyping up the series for fans. The show will have the stunt choreographer from John Wick and Deadpool on board, so maybe it will deliver stunning action scenes that are unlike those seen in any other Star Wars project. Only time will tell, but that time is fast approaching.
The Book of Boba Fett will be released on Disney Plus on December 29, 2021.
